Is The Third Time A Charm?

Tomorrow (Tuesday) is Zenabu's next scheduled court date. This is the third time his case will be presented, waiting for approval. I hardly know what to do today. The weather is nice, so we're going on a picnic at a local park. I'm picking up a work project (I'm a freelance editor) so I'll try to distract myself with work. The hardest part will be trying to sleep tonight. I'm just praying that my anxiety level not build up to volcanic proportions. CHSFS is great about calling the second they have news (good or bad) so hopefully tomorrow I can update my blog with good news. Please be praying...

Best of luck! We had a horrible time with court -- we missed getting through before they closed, and then we got caught in the relicensing delays in October. It can be so agonizing. I really, really hope you get good news today -- I'll be thinking of you and checking back!

Cathy, I think we are in the same boat. We received our referral in Mid-December and our first court date was scheduled for mid-February. That date was pushed backed to March 3. I sat by the phone on March 3 only to learn it had been delayed again to Mid-March, and then to March 27, today!! I called Kristina Berg and she commented that would be word tomorrow. Hey, we are now in the Hall of Fame for the longest adoption out of Ethiopia yet on record! We have to have a sense of humor. I will pray for you, and please pray that Wudenesh's papers clear tomorrow! Where are you located, in the Twin Cities? Linda

We live in Colorado (though we used to live in Mpls.) Are you with CHSFS? I'm assuming so. I feel a little like when you get yanked for airport security. Just one of the unlucky ones--but it does not help the wait. Thanks for making me feel better.
