This is what Lily wants, plus maybe 4 more.
This is what I want to give her. She's not going for it. It's all she talks about anymore. She even wakes up at 3 am, calls me into her room, and tells me the specifics about dog behavior and how she'll take care of it. She is nothing if not obsessed. And determined.
I think I'm going down.

Do not give in easily, and if you do-----Do it after you move and in the summer time. Otherwise, you are the one that will be training this dog.
Just some parental thoughts
I'm voting with Lily on this one. I do get a vote, right?
I have to say that I'm with Lily and Deirdre here. Though I would agree that you should probably wait until after the move. Just like the Obama's....
I think you might guess how I'll vote.
Yeah if I get a vote, I vote "yes, yes!"
Of course I'm totally bullocks at saying no when a family member asks for a dog.
I would also vote chocolate lab or great dane...if you like the big ones, that is. :)
You are so going down. We know our time will come too. Good luck in your decision.
I've been obsessively browsing the rescued dog agencies here in the twin cities ... waiting waiting to free up enough $$ for the rehoming, and you know the food ... and then there's waiting for the "undogfriendly" dog at the house i babysit to say his final goodnight so that I can bring my dog to my 2nd job and THEN THEN I am with Lily ... it's all about the dog man ... all about the dog!!! You can "board" the dog at my house during the picnic here in Mpls, I have a fenced in yard!
you people are no help at all!!!
Guiness, Paxton and Samson all say YES YES YES

Because of allergies-try the "Dude". Half golden retriever and half full sized poodle.
Wait, wait, wait, wait.
