This lady friend of mine just chopped off her hair. Okay, she had good reason. She donated 12 inches of her lovely locks--and I do mean lovely. She has the best hair in the world. And personality. And family. I'm about to start

You are awesome. Seriously, I took that photo in as an example of what I wanted. ;) So cute.
Turns out my hair is so course (it literally feels like straw now that it's short) that it doesn't do that exactly but close enough.

I love short hair. and seriously, I have that exact photo in my "inspiration book". I say do it! Hair grows. and if it's not long enough by the time you make it to London, you can always go hollywood and get extensions.
