Earth Day
I guess for Earth Day I'll be cooking up lots of hamburgers. Lily was given the assignment to draw a picture of something that can be recycled. She wrote:
oh good grief. this vegetarian is so sad to read that...and a little embarrassed that i laughed so hard :). can i just say, one more time, that i think you have funniest, most creative kiddos on the planet? some of my favorite ck-isms: carver as harry potter; carver and the windy school day (when he wore the goggles); and now lily and the earth day massacre. (i'm sure i have some for Z, but my brain is frozen in horror by the cow/cheeseburger image... :))
I now I'm kinda giddy because it's late here & I've had very little sleep for the past several days - but that is just flamin' HILARIOUS! I haven't stopped giggling for about 5 minutes. I never thought of eating cheeseburgers as recycling cows! Where do your kids come up with this stuff!?!?!?!?!? Too funny!
